Season 1 vs season 2
I've been catching up on the show and it seems that season 1 was more real life and has kids being kids.
Season 2 felt more disnified.
I like season 1 better myself.

Season One was more or less the kids as pre-teens, just leaving childhood. Season Two was more of them as teenagers. Thus, Season Two seemed to have more relationship drama (among other things).
Also, the actors/actresses really blossomed over the break between seasons. As such, they appeared more grown up (and the stories reflected this).
Definitely agree. Kids really grew up between seasons.
Season one is much more grounded and about "kid stuff", while season two is more about preteen relationship drama. I enjoy both seasons but I usually prefer season two because I enjoyed the storylines better. Plus Lizzie was much more confident in season two. She wasn't as shy or intimidated by people.
