I found this movie at my local hollywood video and there was a caption that read "the goriest movie of all time, i must see for all zombie fans!" and the quote was from -- get this -- Ultra Violent Magazine, not makin that up
now they obviously know what theyre talkin about, and im pretty temped to rent it soon.

Hollywood is weird that way. My store has junk, yet they don't have Breathless, La Strada, Ran or other well known classic foreign films. I don't know how they pick and choose which films to order and which ones not to, i'd like to find out though.

Junk isnt' excessively gory at all. Yes, it's gory, but not as gory as Men Behind the Sun or Braindead, for example.

Dead Alive/Brain Dead (depending on which side of the atlantic you come from) is the goriest film of all time, although some of the most grusome japanese gorefests come pretty close. I've not seen them, but the reputation of the Guinea Pig films precedes them for realistic and offensive gore.

The guinea pig films are very realistic , at points , but taken as a whole are among the funniest movies ever made ,not the goriest.
Citizen Toxie is one of the goriest movies I have seen.

I agreeee August Underground and Guinea Pig movies are pretty gory, but i must also agree with one of the first posts BrainDead/DeadAlive is probably the most goryist movies i've seen
