I liked this show, and I haven't warmed up to Rescue Me yet. Anyone feel the same?

sharerescue me has more depth..richer, i guess you could say. it's still sharp and biting, but it has more heart and humanity. i'm starting to sound like a shmuck. but i LOVE rescue me.
...but the Job was SO FUNNY!
too bad there weren't another season or two of 'the Job' to enjoy.

sharei just cant get into Rescue Me. I think that it tries too hard. And the overt laughs just arent there. Tries what, im not exactly sure, but it just doesnt seem as natural as the Job was.
shareI could not wait for Rescue me to come out, then when it did I was not impressed, "The Job" on the other hand was brilliant, glad to see someone else thinks the same as I do about the 2 shows, My friends all seem to like rescue me to the point where they buy the complete season dvds, thought i was the only person on earth who did not like the show....lol

I agree. That's not to say that I didn't like Rescue Me. I enjoyed Rescue Me, but I loved The Job. It was just all laughs in every scene. Rescue was funny but the flow usually was broken with other things like the dark dead guy thing or you feel sorry for some other character. I enjoy constant laughs more.
But both shows are great.
