Giving credit where credit is due

Even when doing an adaptation writers are supposed to credit the original author of the story, even when it's out of copyright.

I do believe this was written by Edgar Allen Poe as "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" over 100 years ago and plagiarism is still plagiarism.

They credited Edgar Allen Poe in the beginning credits.

Although I'm pretty sure Poe wouldn't want his name associated with this POS.

The question that sometimes drives me hazy: Am I, or the others crazy?
