I noticed that there are no message boards for this movie so i started this one. What did you people who saw this movie think of it? I thought it was actually half decent for the genre and budget.

I really enjoyed it. I love Bizzy. Did you notice when his mother was shot in the car and dying, you could see her breath? Now, if she was dead, why was she breathing?

Well if she was still alive why did he sook like she was dead rather than try to save her. You don't see your own mother shot up and not try to save her.

If your mother was all shot up in front of you whether she was dead or nearly dead you would be emotional too... the way she had been shot she wasnt going to survive and even if she miracuously did - he wouldnt have known that she was going to survive, he had the right to "sook". if you found someone you loved all shot up and covered in blood, you could keep a straight face? that what your saying? he and his friend obviously called an ambulance and they just didnt show it... so how do you know he didnt try to save her?? anyway this is a real story no one knows how it really happened apart from the guy himself... thats just the way the event was portrayed.

No. that's not how movies go. this script, just for this scene, would have failed with my lecturers.

Also, since when is this a true story?

For The money, the budget, it wasn't bad. Bizzy was well casted, I liked him.

Don't know what's up with Bizzy, but you can tell he's got some skill in acting, too. The role was perfect for him. RonReaco Lee's a great actor, too. I just don't think this was his best performance. There were some points in the movie where he acted a bit out of his element or unnatural, for the lack of a better word.
Overall, it's an amazing movie for being so low budget. The script could've been better, but take it for what it is. A believable, heartwrenching story.
If it'd said "based on a true story" at the end, I would've fallen outta my seat.

I personally liked the movie. I actually ended up buying it twice, once on VHS, and ond DVD. Bizzy was well cast. He surprisingly did a good acting job to me. He made the movie funny. Ronreaco Lee was great as Dre also. I know this was a low budget movie, but I feel it was well made. Also yes I did notice the mother breathing after she was dead. I guess they thought we wouldn't notice.

I loved it. IT was a good independant movie.
