Man, this sucks! Why can't they release that in the U.S.?

reply

Yes, I want it released in the US. Please, what is the hold up? I loved and still love this cartoon.

reply

I bought it last week, I like it... it's so 80's .

reply

But it does not help if it's released in Austraila and not America.

Please see my response to slave2moonlight's inquiry about where to write about a U.S. release of the "Teen Wolf" series.

Remember: The more requests MGM/Fox gets, the faster they'll see about putting the "Teen Wolf" cartoon series on DVD!

That sucks for you U.S.A guys...

If it doesn't get released in the states, someone in Australia is sure to convert it to region 1 DVD-R and become the sole provider for the USA. If the Star Wars Holiday Special, which aired only once almost 30 years ago, can be found as easily as it is, so will this after it's Aussie release.

Anyone know how the release is going in the U.S ?

reply

Any clues?

I bought a fairly cheap region free DVD player on amazon.com and now can watch the Teen Wolf DVDs as well as all DVDs from any part of the world. It was a great investment and I would highly reccomend it to fans since the U.S. misses out on so many great releases. This is the region free player that I purchased;

As for the Teen Wolf episodes, I've been having a blast watching them. Hard to believe there were only 21 episodes even though it's such a big part of my Saturday morning childhood. This is a must buy for Teen Wolf fans.

Why wait for it to be released in the US? I purchase dvd from the US from time to time & I find the quality of the discs (often double sided rubbish) & the cases (often come in some weird cardboard contraption or have the plastic shrink-wrap stuck to it) to be quiet appalling. I should point out that I only buy official studio releases.

Australian DVDs are of a much more consistent quality.

I don’t want to sound like a snob but I’m always disappointed when I order region 1 DVDs & they arrive looking worst for ware even though they’re brand new.

reply

Not really. I'm one of the smart ones who realizes laptops are region free and you can hook your laptop up to your TV so it doesn't even matter. :P

But it looks like they are all on YouTube now anyway.
