Any Max Goof episodes.

To my knowledge, there is...
-The Date with Roxanne
-Max trying to get a car (great use of 'Motormania'. Wonder if Max breaks into cold sweat seeing his usually upbeat dad in such a state?)
-Max learning the importance of his father's job as waiter.

Any other episodes where Max has a role in the story? House of Villains or the XMAS special?

reply

Not really. The episodes you mentioned were the only episodes that were Max-centric. He has a small role in Snow Day, one line in The Stolen Cartoons, Dennis The Duck, The Mouse Who Came To Dinner, and House of Crime; and small, non-speaking cameos in Timon and Pumbaa, Dining Goofy, and House of Villains.

...As far as I know, anyway.

Thank you. I've managed to watch as much of Max in HoM (though I haven't been able to find a complete download of 'Goofy for a day' the Max-as-waiter ep.). I like that, after what was shown in AEGM, HoM shows a more positive portrayal of Goofy & Max's relationship. Father and son are clearly getting along, with Goofy being considerate & giving Max his space, while Max is not only NOT an A...hole, but actually acknowledges his father having a better handle in some matters.

I agree.

Oh, responding to another comment (About Max's reaction to Motor Mania), I'll bet he did! I also wonder what his reaction was to seeing Dance of the Goofys (Where Goofy had on a skin-tight bright yellow suit, with butt wings) He probably considered emancipation.

Another thing, (this is a little OT, but) I'm convinced that either Max started taking steroids in his senior year after Roxanne broke up with him, or he was either raped or kidnapped (Which could also be why Goofy hardly gave Max space and was very overprotective of him).

...Or because of crappy writing, and a different writing team/director.
