Shannon's daydream about being touched by Laurel

In season one, the first clue that Shannon was gay (besides her Ellen wardrobe) was her brief daydream about Laurel caressing her cheek. Is it wrong that I thought that was hot; Laurel (Kristen Kreuk from Smallville) caressing Shannon's (Grace Park from BSG) cheek? I'm glad they handled Shannon's sexuality with class, unlike American shows, but that was still kind of hot.
