Kristin Kruek

Did she do this show and smallville at the same time?

reply

pretty much. That is why "Laurel" (her character on Edgemont) becomes a model and goes away on modelling shoots a couple times to explain why Kristen isn't in a particular episode of Edgemont. She could have quit Edgemont, but decided to do both. Edgemont started in 2000, while Smallville started a year later.

reply

wow shes really talented managing to do two main parts on shows at the same time...

reply

It may explain why she hasn't done hardly any film roles, as popular as she is.

reply

Actually She has done several films:

1. EuroTrip
2. Earthsea for the SCI-FI Channel
3. Snow White for Hallmark

The above are all availble on DVD (Netflix & Blockbuster online)

And currently working on another film.

... and don't forget the TV Commercials .

reply

I wouldn't call four films in four years "several".

reply

Well, if you've seen Smallville recently, you may find some of her schedule may be clearing up a lot. Bye, Lana.

reply

what? Lana's not going to die!!! she has to grow up and marry Pete and have a baby. Lana and Pete still have to go off and be vice-president!

Whenever, Wherever.

reply

hey pink, is that how it goes in the superman storyline? Lana marries pete? or is that something your just saying? I really don't know how the lana character goes in the superman story.

reply

Jonathan Kent is going to die, actually. Pictures have been released that show as much.

reply

that is not several tha is a few. noe that edgemont is over maybe she will do more mainstream movies.

reply

Big deal about Kristin Kreuk... I don't like her so I hope they kill her off. Good riddance!

reply

In the comic books Lana ends up marrying Pete Ross and they have a child together. Pete becomes Lex's vice-president and then Pete eventually becomes president.

and since pete is no longer in the show it wont happen...

reply

We could be in for quite some surprises and the storyline of the comics may not be respected. As a comics reader I know that the storyline of a particular series (let's say Uncanny X-men) will change greatly when a new writer comes, and it becomes worse when you have several titles with the same heroes (new X-men, X-men ...). So Smallville can be seen as a new comics put onto the screen with new authors and theirown vision of the characters.

I don't think that Smallville writers will totally come up with a new story. I think that they will for the most part stick with the movies/comics. We've already seen this with the killing off of Jonathan Kent.
