Cancelled? - The Division (2001) Discussion

The show was officially cancelled at the end of the 2004 season but when the two drama series Lifetime were developing both failed to materialize they quickly un-cancelled it. The Lifetime TV audience was down 20% this past season; and while The Division ratings were also down they decided it was better going into a new season with an established show.

I live in Canada and have been trying to watch the Division on Life Channel. However have been unable to find it and wonder if it was cancelled for sure. Do you know the answer?

For the record, it was canceled in August, 2004 after four seasons and 88 episodes.

shouldn't they at least do a 2 hour movie finalle so that we can have some closure.

i'm so sorry they cancelled it. maybe another channel can take it and re-launch it. i loved the show.

Yeah, I loved her when she was the Pink Ranger! xD..they give the Division on Lifetime at like..1am..monday-friday!

It's for sure not coming back. I hate it!!!! Lifetime is cancelling all of it's good shows. One of them is the Division and the other one is Wild Card. I hope they bring both back or they are going to lose me.

No kidding, I loved both Wild Card and The Division. I really HATE it that they are both gone.
I wonder why they cancelled the shows.

I only got in to because Amy Jo came to the cast, then I came to love the show. I wish it would come back, i was so mad when I heard it wouldnt.

i bet you were since amy was only on the show for 1 season. i got into the show becuz i found out that Taraji P Henson aka Raina Washington was on the show then i was in LOVE. I wish they could bring the show back, or at least give the fans a DVD collection to remember it by.

Did CD really died after being shot by the US Marshall? IF SHE DIED THAT SUCKS!!! :((((( Finished watching that episode just now!

No she didn't die. That episode was the season ending. When the next season opened you found out that she lived, but quit the police force and broke up with Nate. He wouldn't really talk about it so that was all that was told to us.

That was a pretty bad ending to cd. I mean she and nate weren't even really together yet. They hadn't even been on a date. I guess I could understand her "quiting the force". She probably didn't want to hurt nate anymore than she had to. There were too many life ending close calls on the line of duty to have to go through another death possibility. She didn't want to be hurt and she didn't want to hurt nate again. At least that's how i see the writers logic to cd's sudden absence.

Lifetime is really off on deciding when to cut things off. Lots of secrecy. First Tracey then the show? and no explanation.

I agrre, they should do a reunion how and have tracey come back and she and nate get together. Also the captain should retire and leave Jinny or Magda in charge or both of them. And have Angela come back too. I think that would be pretty good.
