Why will the Criterion disc have 12 Scopitones?

I love Scopitones, but why will there be 12 Scopitones on the Criterion disc? I haven't seen the film in more than ten years, so I don't recall any Scopitones being in it.

Whats that anyway? The Criterion release had some strange extras like that and blossom and blood.
