If she returns home she will be crucified

I read her story on the Oprah website and was interested in it as it proves what real love is, and what lengths people are prepared to go through to be together, It's a real shame she is going back home, after all the stress they've been through you'd think she'd prove them wrong and stay with her husband. In her arab country they will lock her up forever if not honor kill her, its awful how they treat women there.

Does anyone know where I can get the video in the U.K? I'd love to see it

Has she really gone back home?

reply

Well, yes, she would be punished if she returned. But NOT crucified! Why would they hang her on a cross? She's Muslim, not Christian.

Did she return to Bahrain? Anyone that knows?

May the Force be with you

reply

no they probably will honor kill her if she goes back, did she go back?

reply

LOL.
I am bahraini, live in Bahrain and can tell you for a fact that the movie was so false. She WILL NOT be honor killed - bahrain isnt a backward place.
Its sad that movies like this are released. It manipulates innocent minds.

reply

Then what would happen? Would any one even be mad at her? What all was wrong in the movie? Did she go back?

reply

I live in Bahrain too, though I'm of palestenian origin and pretty much detest theose Royal pricks, but she won't be Crucified, they'l be pretty [issed at her for sure, perhaps exiled, but I they'll lay a finger on her.

reply

That's cute. And extremely naive and uninformed. Crucifixion is a ROMAN form of punishment, dear. Religion has nothing to do with it.

reply

i think when he said crucified, he meant that as a metaphor. like "The way things are going They're gonna crucify me " or maybe he really is an idiot. i do not know.

sorry useless post.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED! Died rather than betray your friends, as we would have done for you!"

reply

You're right, the original poster probably did mean it metaphorically. I was responding to the first response though, which said they wouldn't crucify because it was a Christian punishment...which, uh...no. Just no. Hahaha.

reply

I am from Bahrain (currently in the U.S.) and i know Meriam personally. No she didn't go back to Bahrain. She is still in the U.S and she does not intend to go back to Bahrain anytime soon. That just wont work out at the moment

reply

your full of *beep* because she indeed did go back to bahrain and got her title and everythin back

reply

^ actually she didn't. She can not go back just as she stated that is not the way things work in that country. She will be killed if she goes back.

reply

Well, she has been back, and started to talk with her family again. They forgave her, which I think was the only right thing to do. :)

reply

Can you show proof of this?

reply

Sure.

reply

WOW! That's your proof? So it MUST be true because it says so on the internet? You've got to be kidding me. You just proved to me you are a person that can NOT be taken seriously!

reply

Well, she stated that herself, and you have just proved that you disrespect the ones who raised you, so I feel sorry for you.
Always talk nice to, or about others. If you talk bad, the ones you're disgracing isn't really the ones you're talking to, or about. It's the ones who raised you. Because then you're showing that they failed to teach you good manners.
Have a nice day.

Not only Christians got crusified. It was a very humilliating way of killing people in those times, only reserved for the truly horrible people as a form of utter humiliation. That's why they did it to Jesus, because they wanted to punish him for professing that he was the son of God. If you know anything, you'd know the people who got crusified next to Jesus were not Christians. You really should think before making stupid statements like that.
