If I ever find it, I'm definitely gonna buy it! I have it taped, but the tape's 15 years old and my dad taped it in sort of an odd way. What happened was that he taped this right after Garfield toward the end of the tape. Right after the part with the geese singing "Here We Come-A-Waddling", the tape finished; then he rewound it to like the middle of the tape, and started taping the rest of it from there. The only part that was left out was most of "O Christmas Tree", but luckily I still remember that whole scene from seeing it before.
If you love Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it copy this and make your signature
I loved the song "we three kings" by the bebop camels, that song has run through my head for over 10 years, have just ordered my copy from amazon.com and am eager to watch the show again
I don't remember nothing else about the show, other than that one song
it was really funky
did they have a rendition of little drummer boy on the show? that's my all time favorite carol
I've never seen the halloween and easter shows, will be fun to watch those again
and this time I'll be seeing them in color!!!!
we had a black and white tv during the 80's
No way! I have a copy of this on tape that has the Garfield Christmas Special on it too! (I love Garfield's Christmas as well)
Last year I got Claymation Christmas on DVD from Suncoast but i had to order it. I'm glad I will have a copy that my kids can watch someday, because this is one of the things I want to pass on.
We must have all taped this the same year - I've lost my copy, but it also had the Garfield Christmas Special on it.
Problem with buying the dvd is all the 80's commercials are missing.
Hardnosed Mrs. Hatcher anyone?
McDonald's piano recital? (Oh I wish I were already there, instead of here, playing this song...)
Garfield and claymation christmas...they seem to go hand in hand.
did these specials originally air back to back, because we also have a tape that has them back to back as well, only it was recorded in 1992.

Yes, they aired back to back. We have the same thing on our tape at our home. I am going to get my mom the DVD of this program for Christmas this year, though, because our tape is really in poor condition. I know she will love it.
Seems like comments start appearing around Christmas time every year. ;)
