Anyone know the highest ranking officer imprisoned since WW I ?

The military does a good job of keeping these things out of the public eye since they can keep anybody out of the base and have their own court system. For the longest time, everybody believed that Pat Tillman died of an honorable death until it was revealed to be friendly fire.

The only thing I can think of is a Colonel who received millions of dollars in bribes to award government contracts to people. It just stands out because he literally hid all of that money in his mattress.

Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair. Although he wasn't imprisoned he was demoted 2 ranks for sexual misconduct. He's currently the highest ranking officer convicted of charges.

Just goes to show that in the real world a 3 star general would NEVER go to prison like in the movie. Demotion and forced retirement like in Sinclair's situation is the reality of things.
