The spiders in the movie are extremely scary and down right creepy. I've seen pretty much every spider movie and outside of Arachnophobia(mainly cause they were real spiders) the spiders in this movie are the scariest around.

I liked the social dynamics of the castaways and the challenges of a hot jungle locale are palpable. As far as spider-attack flicks go, it's definitely superior to the half-baked "In the Spider's Web" (2007), but it’s not as good as “Arachnophobia” (1990).
