How does it compare?

Have any original AbFab fans seen this? Does it measure up?

Charmed, charmed, charmed!

From what I have seen of the film, as I haven't properly watched the DVD, due to not being as fluent in French as I thought I was (LOL) it looks good and no doubt the dialogue is equally good, despite what some people say and the French critics too, after just reading about it on Wikipedia. :)

I did actually watch this film all the way through, not long after the message above and I enjoyed it, even though my French is not as good as theirs in the film. Hahaha!

I must go back to night school and carry on learning my French, although I can't be that bad at French (after learning it for 5 years at school and then trying to learn as much as I could and still can after leaving school in 1999) as I was picking up pieces of dialogue here and there. :o)

Both the Edina and Patsy roles are very funny and well played. You don't need a massive level of French to follow what is a lot of slapstick. The French turn out a lot of so so comedies but this was an enjoyable effort and compared well to the TV series.
