I heard its on vhs but cant remeber the site!fancy e-mailing me and sharing memories?i can remeber the weather vain thing,and the ship being pulled from the swamp by the Morie guys,i THINK it flew off in the last episode

Its never been released. Ive even gone so far as to enquire about rights, but with no luck.

Have you found it yet? I am going insane with trying to find out. The worst part was that I couldn't remember the title until i posted a question on the message boards and someone kindly enough told me what it was. I don't believe that it does not exist somewhere out there. :(

You might try contacting New Zealand Television archive, you can buy copy of tv shows from there archive but it will cost you, I'm not sure how much but i heard, $50 per 30 minute footage.

I'm not sure if it will help but you can try anyway.

It's a real shame cause TVNZ has made alot of television shows but they only play them once and then throw them in their archive vaults never to been seen again.

Unfortunately thay only have broadcast rights and cannot (as of Aug 04) provide home video copies.

If anyone has any luck with them or anywhere though be sure to post!

I remember this series vagely and have been after it for some time also.

The only parts I can remember were the daisy wheel thing on the barn and the space ship part taken out of the swamp. Didn't they find a part to the spaceship at the end of each episode. This was quality television back in the day!

Anyone got any pictures of the show?

Did you know it's based on a book and that it's still floating around if you're willing to hunt? I have a copy here somewhere. It contains pictures and a diagram of Kolob (the space probe).

I remember the last episode of the series reasonably well....they finally pulled all the pieces of the probe or what ever it was, from the swamp, and put it together. The probe came to life and explained it was from Sirius B or something, and then it set off back there.

Did the probe display a triangle and did one (or more) of the kids have a glowing symbol in the palm of their hands?

Yes, Kolob's display was triangular (made of light) and Gretchen was left with a mark on her hand after touching one of the aliens.

Oh my goodness, I love the imdb, no-one I know remembers this programme. Does anyone remember the episode where time stops or something and the kids are in a shop and draw on the shopkeepers face in pen?

haha, that's right - I remember that the strongest of all the episodes. As well as the scene in the first or the second episode, when the girl heads for the house from the barn, and the camera pans very close to the Daisy, which starts MOVING - that's the part when children piss in their pants, BTW :)
