DVD took two weeks to arrive.
It is region 0 and PAL so will play in any PAL territory. NTSC territories (eg US & Japan) will need PAL compatible equipment but otherwise will be able to play the disc.
The DVD is in episode format.
The picture quality and sound is in general very good. However, as per the warning on the cover, the video suffers from horizontal streaking and VT drop-outs in places. It is quite particularly noticeable in Episode 2. The last 3 episodes are pretty solid though.
This should not put you off as its perfectly watchable and the dropouts are transitory and in general occasional.
There may be a cut in episode 3 after the shot of the bubbling water half way though (leading into a scene in the kitchen) I will need to check my other copy to be sure how much is removed.
