Dateline vs 48 Hours?

...Which is the better "true crime" program?

I like those 2 hr Datelines the best. However, I like the 1 hr 48 Hours better than the 1 hr Dateline. I haven't watched 20/20 in years. From what I recall, they had multiple news/story segments, which IMO doesn't feel as thorough as Dateline/48 Hours, which dedicates their entire episode to one story.

48 Hours seems to have covered several cases that have already been shown on Dateline.

I like both shows but there are so many about women murdered by their husbands. Sick of that.

Yes, there has been an overlap in some of the stories being dealt with on both shows...unfortunately though, spouses do kill each other so that type of reporting will be a mainstay...
