Looking for similar film to Suspended animation.

I'm looking for the name of a film possibly from the early 80's in which a man driving in the middle of the countryside
breaks down and looking for help he calls at an isolated house where a father and daughter live on their own and give him shelter for the
night. The next day he tries to continue his journey and the father who is a psycho refuses to let him leave. The father and daughter
obviously hadn't had contact with anybody in years and the daughter is imprisoned in the house by the father.

The movie does sound familiar.

Netflix has a members site that allows member to help each other to find the name of a movie they are looking for, I am not sure if you have to be a Netflix member to ask a question

I believe the movie you're looking for is "Cold Comfort" (1989). Don't believe it's on DVD, but there are used VHS copies cheap on Amazon.
