I love this game...here's a great tip for you guys

This is an easy and quick way to level up! Go to the area in the Sea (right before the Sunken Ship) or the area in Belome's Temple, both where there is a treasure chest w/a star inside. There is also another Star in the room with all the Geckos in Belome's Temple, but I think it costs 500 coins. First of all, choose Mallow and Princess Toadstool as your allies. Un-equip EVERYTHING, the weapons, armor, and pins, etc. Save the game. Go to the star, and knock out as many enemies as you can. After the star runs out and you've leveled up, run into an enemy intentionally (in the Sea, its easier if you enter the Sunken Ship and run into the skeletons that you cant defeat w/o a jump attack). Let them kill you. DO NOT use defense of any kind, just attack them. The blows created by your allies should be fairly weak, thus no real threat to the enemy. After you die, you will be at the save point, to start the cycle over again, but you have recieved points from the last time you used the star! Do it as many times as you want to, until you reach the desired level! Sure does make the game easier! Have fun!
