Jarod and Miss Parker??
I haven't been able to see the Pretended movies, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what happened with Jarod and Miss Parker? Did they get together? I'd appreciate it if you could let me know,thanks ! :)

they're not bro and sis--that was a storyline AP mentioned in a chat/interview but that has not been addressed in any episode, although they do share a brother. And they did not get together in the TP 2001 movie but they had a "moment" in TP:IOTH and that was it. A wonderful moment but that's all!! Perhaps with a new movie they will if tptb's ever decide to make it happen.
shareBut in this movie, at the end, Raines refers to Jarod and Miss Parker as his children. I'm puzzled. So they're not siblings? Then why did Raines say that or did I just misunderstood him?
shareI think what Raines meant was that they are children from the Center meaning that in a way they would be his because he watched them grow up.

Dr. Raines said at the end of TP2001: "Goodbye and good luck my children", and we've learnt in IOTH that Miss Parker is indeed Raines' daughter (or 90% of chances), and one wouldn't say "my children" if one of them is their actual child, and the other isn't (one'd say that whether if both were or neither)
and also, Alex said in tp2001 to Jarod "you have no idea how much this woman is important to you" and alex didn't lie, just as when he told Miss Parker that Mr. Parker wasn't her father
and a few other hints that we given to us trhoughout the series' run:
Fenigor said Jarod's father killed Catherine Parker, and it turned out to be Raines
not a real one, but, just in case this wasn't enough, they didn't let Ms. Parker and Jarod kiss in IOTH, they couldn't have let them do that if they're really bothers and sisters ... and yeah, finally, MTW and AP always asked the producers to create some kind of relationship between them (in the last three seasons), and the producers never agreed to do so, this might be why ..)

c'mon, probably they are not a brother and sister.
after all, in one of the first episodes they DO KISS. and the producers probably hoped to have another tv movie, but it didn't come true (yet) because of bad ratings.
that doesnt matter. luke skywalker and princess leia kissed in star wars and they turned out to be bro and sis.

i think here the thing is different: the creators make so many subtle hints that Jarod and Miss Parker like each other...
yeap. Jarod and Miss Parker likes each other and it's more than 'just friends' kind of liking.
the writers/producers made them have some unusual/twisted sexual attraction towards each other. in the second movie they even have an almost kiss moment...
so it's highly unlikely that writers/produces will make Jarod and Miss Parker siblings (in a third movie which, hopefully, will be made someday)... i certainly hope they won't, since i'm a shipper :o)

anyway, the nature made us not to be attracted to a brother or a sister even if we never saw them our entire life. something about the same chemistry constitution.. something about the similar smell.
well, there are always a freaks of nature, though....
anyway, in Bloodlines, Jarod check Miss Parkers blood and conclude that they're not a brother and sister...
hey guys they just released season 4 on amazon does anyone know if they plan on releasing the two movies and i hope they go back and finish the last two movies they were suppose to do but since it has been so long since they did the second movie i doubt it

Aww, I didn't know that I always thinks it's cute when 2 actors on a tvshow go to producers to suggest to them that they become a couple, it makes me wonder if they are "curious" of each other, have the cake and eat it to. Huh?

it amaze me that alex knew that miss parker was important to him but jarod didn't get it at all and i am just trying to get it myself but i can't help
shareI thought Miss Parker dad was the man from Maine that her mom use to visit. I remember Jared sending her up there, and when she came back he told her Happy Birthday, because her mom use to go up there at the beginning of April and her birthday is January 3rd.
Plus when they were looking for her twin brother, they thought it was Jarod, but Jarod said that he wasn't a match and that it could have only been Angelo or Mr. Lyle.
You're correct, they did throw this out there in one episode and then everyone seemed to just forget about it... I remember thinking that it was odd that Miss Parker was so shocked when Alex told her that Mr Parker wasn't her real father... I thought it was odd because she had already done the math, as you wrote about, and Miss Parker already thought the man from Maine was her father... I don't know why the writers decided to drop that fact from the plot in later episodes... It just made things more confusing for me...

Yeah, it's been like 7 years since they made the first two movies, and I'm still holding out hope that they finish the story. I would love to see Miss Parker and Jarod get together. They are made for each other, and they are the only ones who really understand each other. If I had one wish in the world, it would be to see them together at last.
