They need to add on two more towns to the filming locations.
East Dundee, Illinois, where most of it was filmed, and I think a tiny bit was in West Dundee, some was also in Carpentersville, Illinois

When Joshua looks at the town from a distance, I did a double-take! It was my home town of Lemont, Illinois! What the directors wanted was a town where you can see multiple churches in one camera frame. They did it and you can see 6 church steeples. I immediately called my mother to say that I saw not only our church that I grew up in on the TV screen in front of me but the street that I grew up on too!
Very nice little town you live man!
