How did Nathan get the scars on his back, did one of his tricks or one of his mothers boyfriends do that to him? It is never really mentioned in the movie.

I am pretty sure it was the guy at the beginning. If you listen closely, you can hear Nathan is kind of in pain...during....and then after he looks in the mirror at his back, disappointingly. Just my guess.

And also, the first spoken line in the film is when Nathan is leaving that guy's home the next morning. The guy says 'Sorry'. Nathan says, 'No you're not.'

Are there scars on his tinkle?
