Did they get any shots of you?

I was visiting Barmouth in November 2001. They were filming Happy Now at the time and the main road through the town was closed, so you had to drive via the harbour instead. The house on the quay (Bath House) normally beige had been painted deep blue and was the police house in the picture. I wandered into the town to see what was going on - they were filming at the time - one of the crew told me to hide in a doorway with her, since they were just about to take a shot. I was therefore able to see Ioan Gruffudd in his long beige coat walk across the road and into the hairdressers on the other side of the street. When I finally saw the picture on the big screen, in nearby Harlech the following year, I saw the shot they had taken in the film. The camera was actually in the shop looking out and the shot consisted of Ioan Gruffudd opening the shop door and walking in. There was no way I could have been spotted in the film, even if I hadn't been hiding in the doorway, since the street scene shown through the window in the actual shot was so quick that you couldn't have made anything out anyway !
Also driving back over the mountains the following week a solitary house by the road close to Llan Ffestiniog had been painted bright red when it was normally cream. That too featured in the film when I finally saw it.
