does nothing but cheapen horror and sci-fi genres, and further give them a bad name. And,-David Arquette is one of the worst actors who ever lived. Sci-Fi Channel crap.

I agree with dundealin, it wasnt supposed to be scary at all, it was hilarious. I dont see how anyone could have taken this to be a horror movie, or even really a serious movie. It was a comedy.

I LOVE this movie for exactly the reason WaitingFTS56 said. It is NOT supposed to be a horror film. It is supposed to be funny and preposterous and it was. I laugh so hard and could watch it over and over.

And I think that is why they had David Arquette as the lead. He is funny.

I think some people need to stop taking movies so damn seriously. My favorite movies are the ones that take me away from my problems and make me engrossed in them. This movie does that for me. I have fun and do not think of bills or any other problems when I watch it.

It deliverd what it was supposed to. Some good laughs and giant spiders. Nothing more nothing less. It wasent trying to be anything more than it was. A fun entertaining Comedy.

I haven't seen this film yet but have a bit of a sense of fun for gods sake. These type of movies aren't meant to be taken seriously. a film called Eight Legged Freaks isn't pretending to be anything other than a film about giant spiders attacking people.
