Can someone give me instructions? I've tried MySpleen twice but I always did things wrong. What programs do I need to download, etc.
shareYou'll need a bittorrent client to open .torrent files. If you don't plan on using it much, simply get the basic client here:

After you have this installed, go to www.myspleen.net and click on signup. Fill out the info and register, then follow the instructions to sign in (can't remember but you might have to click a link in your email). After you are logged in, go here:

Click on the link in front of "File name". Download the file, then open it. If it doesn't want to open with bittorrent, go into bittorrent through your start menu and open the file through there.
Then just wait for it to download, and leave your download open after it finishes if you want to help seed other people.

I never use Torrents as they are too slow. If you really want the show just ask in the Usenet newsgroups under binaries.comedy for a posting of all the episodes and in what format (DivX, Xvid, SVCD, DVD) and you'll probably get them all upped in a couple days at most. My download speeds are in excess of 300KB/sec. on cable at 12 noon! Much higher at night. I've been getting lotsa old series that will never be made available on disc especially a lot of 60s dramas and comedies: It's About Time, T.H.E. Cat, Captain Nice, Mr. Terrific, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., 12 O'Clock High. Also new stuff like the 2nd season Dr. Who episodes as NTSC SVCDs every Saturday...
