I got a 2 cd set of this series as part of a fantasy set earlier this year - yup I have the Daily Mail copy - running time 3 hours and billed as "The Beginning" and "The Gift of the Name" Are there additional episodes to these? I'm not sure whether what I own is an severely edited version of the ENTIRE series (that was made) or just the complete first two episodes.

I found out about the boxset and I'm thinking about buying it also. Basically mine ends with with Atreyu and Flygirl escaping Xaide (or how ever you spell it) but still having to return for the luckdragon. Does the boxset go further into the story?

I'm pretty sure that the full series was never released on DVD. There are DVD releases of the show but they are all severely edited. I actually saw the condensed DVD versions on YTV a few years back and I noticed that there is a large chunk of storyline missing from all of it.

Did you ever figure it out? Do you have the entire series now? I have a version that is approx. 6 hours 15 minutes, and according to IMDB the entire series is 375min, so I assume I have a full unedited version.

I just found a 4 disk set with 13 eps at goodwill for $5
