That was not Waco, Texas, U.S.A.

On the rerun shown on Univision in Houston tonight, it said they were in Waco, Texas, U.S.A. It looked nothing like Waco. Waco doesn't have big hills. There aren't ranches in the city. There are buildings, houses, and over 100,000 people. It's like the time Jacksonville Jaguars player, David Garrard, came to play in Houston. He was surprised that there weren't ranches in Houston, like Hollywood shows. Come on, 5 million people can't live on ranches. People outside of Texas have no idea what Texas looks like or what Texans dress like.

A communications disruption could mean only one thing: invasion.

OMG, I was thinking the same thing too! I'm from Houston but currently live in San Antonio to attend college. I am pretty familiar with Texas and by no means is that Waco, TX. Besides if you look at a map of Texas you would see that Waco is a couple hundred miles from the US/Mexico border. Waco is a lot closer to Dallas than El Paso.

Yeah I understand that I’ve passed by there and notice that it was nothing like in the Novela. I think that they used the name and name only for their scenes. But they should have just created a fictional town or done more research on smaller towns in TX. But it’s just a Novella it was a cool one too though.
