i personally found whitey duvall pretty heart wrenching at times... it a very adorable character.
I think everybody should be a little bit more like him. es a wonderfull human being. He just tr to make everybody feel better, no matter how he feels, he nver thinks of hurting someone, he hasnt got prejudice and he is ready to help. Even though some people tend to laugh at him and hurt his feelings he doesnt let this to be an obstacle.
Admirable.

It was a adorable character, but the voice done by Sandler was just plain awful. it constantly reminded me of the voice from the possessed referee from Little Nicky.

i actually cried when he didnt win the award and was heartbroken, mainly cos myself atm have been waiting for a long time for something with great hope and excitement and it never happened

Does anyone know if Adam Sandler got the name for this character from Buffalo Bill asst. coach Whitey Dovell under Lou Saban? Dovell was the man Lou Saban famously shouts to while coaching his hapless Bufallo Bills around the early 70's. "They're killing me Whitey, they're killing me!" I realize the spelling is not the same, but very close.
