Could have been good if they toned down the crude humor.

I noticed that every time this movie started getting good it was ruined by crude and immature humor. For example, did we really need to see the Chinese guy knocking his head on the table over and over when Whitey left the pageant after losing? The scene was fairly well done and sad until that happened, but thats only a small example. Almost every sentimental scene was ruined by this type of crap, like the flashback scene when Davey's parents die, Whitey does that stupid robot dance halfway through...ughh. I think the deer were *beep* all over the place too at one point, but I don't think that was during an important scene...

Anyway, my point is that this movie could have been legitimately good if it left out at least half of the toilet humor, because there were some heartfelt sequences through out.

I agree. But most of your examples aren't crude humor. The guy banging his head and the robot dance were hilarious to us. They're absurd & random, maybe that's why you didn't like it. But they're anything but crude.

But the deer poop, the fart jokes, etc... could have all been removed and the movie would be stronger for it. Not that I dislike crude humor in general, they were just out of place in an animated holiday movie, and didn't fit the rest of it...

"dude i dont care i just love this movie you guys have a realy taste in movies what wrong with you"

I said crude AND immature humor, but yeah, my examples weren't too great. Glad somebody knows what I'm talking about though, lol.

Strong year later reply FTW.

Two years later for the double win?

I absolutely agree. I think this is the main problem with most of Adam Sandler's films nowadays, way too much crude/immature humor. Why does every one of his films have to have non stop fart jokes? Even you go back to Billy Madison there isn't too much crude humor. His best films like The Wedding Singer don't have crude humor like most of his movies nowadays. It slowly happened and now it's a normal thing for his movies.
