Exactly how hard did you laugh?

When I first saw this movie, I laughed literally until it hurt. I had stomach cramps from laughing so hard.

so hard that heart started to pound hard, stomach went up, it was hurting too much, tears in the eyes.

This film was too damn funny.

I chuckled a few times, but I found the movie exceedingly boring. I found the Behind the scenes special feature more entertaining than the film to be honest.

reply

I don't know why, I just love this movie though. I don't know how it could be boring.

reply

Sorry, I must to say, that I found this movie extremely annyoing. Mainly the music in movie. It is surely something that I won't watch again in my life.

reply

I'm with you...
With the exception of a few giggles, I was dissapointed.
my Netflix picks this month, so far, have not been too good.

reply

Sorry folks, but I just couldn't get into it at all. I've just watched the first half and given up because I found it too tedious. There were a few laughs, but not enough to sustain it.

It takes all sorts, I guess, but this just didn't work for me.

I thought the movie had everything. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe that it flew under my radar (I saw it on HBO). Now that I see that other people didn't enjoy it so much, I understand why I missed it. It had comedy, good love stories, action, and even violence .... the music is what really downplayed the violent acts in the movie, not the comedy of the characters. There was a carjacking, prison guard death by choking, stabbing, someone getting run over by a car, stealing, fighting, breaking and entering, attempted larceny, property damage, and much more. Very clever way of making all of that seem like it was a justified crime for this group of friends.

People read too much into films. Some people like it, others don't. Its just a film about a robbery going wrong!
Personally i really collapsed with laughter when Toto is being carried across the buildings and his pants fall down..... histerical! Also when they finally break thru the wall had me in stitches... Toto is a brilliant character. Shame Michael Jeter is dead.

I laughed so hard till I peeed. Totally enjoyed the movie.

I thought this was one of the funniest films i've ever seen....

different strokes for different folks definatly applies here thou, watched it many times with many different people and reactions are always different. Some people enjoy flat out slapstick humour whilst others enjoy implied smart humour. I found this flim had a good mix of the two. For me the music and the facial reactions of the actors were its winning points. When Jenifer Esposito took the paper off the windows in the apartment the reactions of the two on the street was pricless.......

reply

I'm with you and the few others .... this movie had me falling all over myself in laughter. It was more the little things than anything else, like when Toto is eating the baby food and says, "MMM, good." It was right in between some quick dialogue, so I didn't catch it until the second time around.

reply

Yeah.. it started slow, but at the part when they did the actual breaking in to the womens apartment, I thought I was gonna die from laughing so hard. Awesome flick

reply

Didn't have to really laugh out loud but I had a constant smile on my face.

reply

agreed. I wasnt rolling on the floor, but the part that no one has mentioned was when Pero was in the funhouse and he came up, and Pero's like "what the *beep*"? and he starts choking him. that was laugh out loud!

I liked this movie very very much, but then I am a Clevelander, and I love Collinwood. Laughing at these jokers was laughing at myself. The Russo boys got it right.
