Best line...

You know how Cosimo was always telling everyone he got in a confrontation with that their mother is a whore.

Best line is at Cosimo's funeral when Toto says "well he had a rough life... his mother was a whore.." with that geezer little voice of his.

Laughed my arse off.

The funniest part is that you would read a thread entitled: Best line... and then get mad when you read it. ;)

That one is great!

I think its when Pero is chatting up Carmella he says something like,

"I gained a degree in learning"

or when Riley says: This Bellini is starting to look like a real Kapuchnik.

The best line has got to be when the gangsta and the geezer crash through a window:

"This Window seems to be okay..."

I laughed my ass of :-)

I have to go with when Pero says that he was lucky enough to "gain a degree in... learning." I was laughing so hard at that. Then after the kid spits on his shoe: "Crazy kids... That's a joke we play on each other."

I also liked when Toto says, after Pero passes out, "Oh Jesus, we killed him."

When Pero tries to get Cosimo out of jail:

"I said to him, 'Cosimo, I need to steal this car. I am a car thief. I steal cars. By myself.'"

I have to agree that this is the best line. I love Sam Rockwell, and this line just made me start rolling when thinking about it, moreso than any other line in this post (although several of them did make me laugh).

This movie is so much funnier in retrospect, too.

That was hilarious, "Hey youngblood, gimme some..." then he spits on his shoe!! Class. Then when Pero rescues Carmella from the staged mugging "Hey leave the girl alone you...street...bums..." like it was obviously a set up but he's so dumb he forgot what he was supposed to say. Have to say the film's full of one liners, Washsington saying "He's like a gimp!", Clooney turning around disgusted. Had no idea what the film was when I bought it, so glad I did, best comedy I've seen in a long time.

My favourite is when Pero is trying to put Carmela off coming to his house and he says something like "You cant come to my house, its being deloused". Its just such a horrible excuse to use, but it makes me laugh everytime.

the best line by far is;

sgt babitch: (to Pero) "Don't you get smart with me you little prick, I will s--t in you."

reply

I agree that the best line has to be, "I will s--t in you."

Toto's line "What a bizzare wall."

Unbelievably well-elivered. I almost died.

A vague memory is not the most trustworthy of things.
