Bad Achievements?

Just got it for XBLA and I'm already having trouble unlocking certain achievements, namely A Friend Indeed and ...Who Needs Enemies? The specifications are simple: complete any mission in co-op and complete any mission in counter-op. I've done both, but the achievements won't unlock.

Theories?

Were you online or off? Split screen, system connect or over online? With a friend (on your friends list) or a stranger?

Split screen, with a friend, both of us signed into X-box Live.

This was a common question in the xbox forums. You have to finish a mission. The Datadyne mission is split into three parts (so you'd have to complete all 3 parts to finish the mission).

To get the achievements quickly. Try doing a co-op or counter-op session on the Carrington Villa stage on agent difficulty, as it is one mission/one stage. This can be done on local multi-player or over XBL.

I always hated exclusively online multiplayer achievements unless it's Halo or COD becaus sometimes nobody is on. This there ussually is but it takes a while and about a month from now I bet almost nobody will be online for this.

You don't have to be online for these achievements. It can be co-op and counter-operative locally.

Both can be done without access to the internet.

You might need internet to download it though.
