Your Fav Song From S+M

I say its Outlaw torn.

I loved Call of Ktulu and Master of Puppets. They sounded really cool with the orchestra backing them up.

Bleeding Me and Nothing Else Matters.

One

Definitely Hero of the Day, followed by Battery.

No leaf clover! That song is awesome

Mine would have to be ONE or for whom the bell tolls, and i also like call of ktulu.

I am the angel that fell from Salvation.

Mine's a toss up between Master of Puppets, Hero of the Day, and One. I like every single song from this album, but these are my top 3, but I'll just have to say One.

I think I had Hero of the Day as my fave on another post (I think it's under the Some Kind of Monster board).

I seem to have a soft spot for the S&M version of 'The Memory Remains' - don't know why.

I do agree with Puppets and Ktulu, though. Especially the way Ktulu just led straight into it, and the fact that they didn't cut Puppets short just like they do at so many live shows.

Nothing Else Matters also rocked. Depending on the mood I'm in, I'm a sucker for it.

The Call of the Ktulu is definiately the best, but Hero of the Day is the most beautiful.

I have cried myself through that one several times.

But I'm still a harballer metalhead :-)

Battery and No leaf clover

reply

i think id have to say one, they play it fast, complete and dont mess with the arrangement, as well as watching kirk, he really looked like he was having fun with it,

for the record tho, if there was any proof it actually was metallica, id be voting for the imperial march LOL i am a sith fan.....and besides, darth vader wasnt all that bad, he just wanted to save his wife but to stay on topic, i even figured out how to play the rumored metallica version

S&M was good all in all...for an idea done a bunch of times over....i agree that ride the lightning would have been sweet, but only disagree with doing "anethesia" as noone could ever play it like cliff did....just like for whom the bell tolls....the way he plays it in cliff em all is unbeatable

The Call Of Ktulu, Of Wolf And Man, No Leaf Clover and -Human

reply

I liked Human. It reminds me of a Cecil B. DeMille movie soundtrack, powerful and awesome.

No Leaf Clover, One and Nothing Else Matters are def up there, but Hero of the Day tops my list.

It's nothing short of brilliant and like entermartin1990, I get pretty teary after listening to that one ;)
