It's not the dialog.

It's not the story either trust me dude I know what you mean.

It's the fact it's in france.

France with no alcahol is like eating without food. You'll go hungry and fall asleep and end up speeking french eventually.

But seriously, France is boring minus the sex and booze. And ass woopins.

That's all thats in france too. That's it. That's why it can suck that hard.

Yes it would have been far better being filmed in America, just like every other film ever made...

It was a great film. I loved the fight scenes, especially the ones at the end.

Wouldn't say it was boring but I did think it was very very stupid. I only watched it because Tcheky Karyo is a god and the future father of my children!

Should have known better than to watch a martial arts film. I know most people who post here will be martial arts fans and will be horrified by what I am saying - and I am probably missing the point of these films anyway, but did anyone think the bit where he ko'd thirty cops who just happened to be doing martial arts in a police dept in the middle of Paris a bit far fetched. And where were all the french people in this film? It's set in Paris yet Tcheky seemed to be the only Frenchie - all very strange

Sorry but by that standard 90%+ of movies are stupid, they all have far fetched plots and have unrealistic things in it. It's called 'suspension of disbelief' which applies to the vast majority of movies. Paris is a very multi-cultural city, it's not unusual there are many foreigners, the two blond fighting twins are french, didn't you see him reading 'Where's Wally/Waldo' aka 'Ou est Charlie?' Most of the extra's etc were French. C'mon, you're being a lil' harsh in your criticism, but then I'm criticising so lol. Just chill a bit Bill, as I'm about to puffing the magic dragon.

And Tcheky isn't strictly French, he has French nationality and he grew up in France, but was born in Turkey, his father is Turkish and his mother is Greek.
