This movies was the last good martial arts movie it had great fight sceans and was a good movie it should atleast get an 8!!!!

Me too but I think it's one of those niche movies that few people appreciate.

I gave it a 10 for the awesome ending. One of the most satisfying villian death scenes I've even seen.

In the second it takes for you to kill her, I will have all the time I need to kill you...

The movie isn't bad but also doesn't deserve anything above 7 or maybe 7,5. While it dies have good fighting scenes and a somewhat good story in regards to Jessica, it also features some some clichees, over-the-top-evil villain and some WTF-moments (he storms the police building, opens a door and enters a dojo - just so we do have an additional fight!?). It has the usual problems, like every time it is convinient, the bad guys don't have firearms. It also has some redeeming moments where it doesn't follow the usual formula. But it's no masterpiece and certainly not Jet Li's best nor the best action/martial arts movie since 2001. Try Jet Li's "Fearless" instead.

Yeah, that was eye-rolling.

Or how about when the British pilot grabs not one, but two Uzis to kill Liu Jian ("Johnny") in the ritzy hotel lobby -- and then proceeds to shoot up the entire place. Did he really need to cause mass devastation to kill one Chinese guy? I'm sure the corrupt Inspector (Tchéky Karyo) wouldn't enjoy explaining the wholesale desolation to the mayor.

I agree with Puschit this movie is good but not that good it should be at less 7.5 still a good record

Anyone who rates this movie less than an 8 PROVES that Christian Bale is a pu ss y and his lame Batman movies deserved 8-9 on imdb andddd that his fans are pu ss ies too..............and NO that is absolutely NOT an opinion.
