The Frank Whaley Show

This movie is such a self-aggrandizing puff piece that I am in total disbelief that a total unknown like Frank Whaley could get Hollywood to make it in his honor.

He wrote it, directed it, and starred in it?

He doesn't cover any of those bases even slightly. I've been a fan of his acting since he played Robbie Krieger 18 years ago, but no one could act well in such a useless project.

There is no reason for this movie to exist.

Whaley's screenplay was based on the play Veins and Thumbtacks by Jonathan Marc Sherman. The reason for this movie to exist is that some people like to watch well-acted tragedies.
