Dancing at the Harvest Moon - instrumental dance music

Can anyone tell me what the instrumental dance music was played twice while the 2 main characters danced on the floor of the rennovated Harvest Moon....it was a sultry spanish style song?

i don't have the answer to your question as we are on the same quest. though we have heard that similar spanish style music every now and then if we're lucky but can't quite find others like it. what exactly do you call that kind of music/genre? can't tell you how much that song struck every high note in my body.

reply

I would say blues

Latin/Salsa - that's the genre.

and some of it is tango - i think what you're hearing is traditional salsa and tango music.

It was great, and it sounded like something the Gipsy Kings would play. I sure would like to know what it was!

I am interested in same samba music from Dancing at the Harvest Moon. I searched under acustic Guitar or Guitar Spanish Music. I purchased one but it was not on it. Not even close. The only way to find out would be to get the movie itself and play it until the credits at the end. Usually songs & artists are listed there. I tried to purchase it on Lifetime Movie Channel but it sent me to amazon.com. The book is the only thing available at the moment. Unfortunately when Lifetime shows the credits at the end of a movie they make them unreadable so they can advertise. By the way my closed captioning called it samba music.
