Yeah, in hindsight she should have just cut all losses and sold the house and started them over, him away from their lives except to see their son. But I guess they had history and he had remorse and Tess wasn't entirely closed to him being back and their son loved him...was a great fantasy, I guess and they played it out. Perhaps it was a good thing.
