Whos this new bloke?!

First off this topic isnt because i was a huge fan of Andy or anything im just wondering whats going off.

I mean Andy had a shaky start but to be honest i did warm to him by the end of the season. Of course he could never touch Lovejoy but he put his input into the show which is all i ask.

So i switch on at the start of the season (i appreciate this post is a little late) to see yet another new person perched on the orange sofa! At this moment in time i cant quite remember his name and in all honesty i haven't seen that much of it this season but from what i have seen Im not so keen. Fair enough it took me a while with Andy but im not sure things will happen the same this time. He doesnt seem to have the same style as Lovejoy or Goldstein.

So i ask two question :

1) Any opinions on the new presenter?

2) What actually happened to Andy? Sacked or quit?

Its my signature DUDE!

Goldstein was simply axed. Apparentely the bosses weren't happy as he kept on hashing jokes and often made uncomfortable viewing. I think it's a bit harsh to chop him after one season when he seemed to be becoming more comfortable as the season wore on. On the other hand, he wasn't the best. The sketches weren't as sharp and the banter seemed to be flat. Max Rushden from Bid TV has taken over. He's a good enough presenter, but god bless him, he's not right for the show.
I know they miss Lovejoy, but they really miss Fenners and Sheephead. They absolutely made the show what it was. They do have their own daily show on he internet. It's called bee tv. It really is very good and reminds you how good Soccer Am used to be. I don't think Soccer Am is dead in the water as some people are claiming on internet forums, they just need to have a massive rethink in the summer and get the correct presenter. Someone who can write a good sketch, and most importantly somebody funny.
