Candy Candy With English Subtitles

Greetings!
I found the Japanese Candy Candy with English Subtitles on AnimeSuki, and they are great, but they are in a weird .MKV format and I can't convert them without losing the subtitles, so if anybody knows where I can find the series in Japanese, or Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc... with English Subtitles in .WMV or .AVI format, so that I can create my own Candy Candy VCD's because the chance of ever finding it on DVD are slim to none, please tell me! Also is anybody is creating a petition to send to Toei for Candy Candy DVD's, I would be happy to sign!

Where did you find the series on AnimeSuki? I tried but the only thing I could find was the movie :(

you can see mkv files with videolan's vlc player. mkv is an image file, just like the iso format, but i don't know any good programs to unpack it

media player classic has a matroska file reader.. works perfect for me to read mkv with it.. but I cannot find the TV series on the anime suki site =(( ... anyone else have a good tip where to find the series ? I'm stuck on episode 54, and I want to see candy meet terry again *snif*
