who sang the ENGLISH opening song?

in Australia this was released on Star Video in ENGLISH dubbing on a double bill with LITTLE LULU. I believe the episode was called "FRIENDS FOR LIFE" and this young boy was finally adopted by this cowboy dude who invited them round for BBQ. everything nearly ended fine except for a bizarre moment when the adoptive father knocks the boy to the ground whilst yelling "aintcha got nothin to say t'all the people that looked after ya all these years!!!??"

besides that crazy disturbing scene I also remember the ENGLISH version theme song- it sounds a lot like Elizabeth Daily from RUGRATS/ PEEWEE HERMANS BIG ADVENTURE and BETTER OFF DEAD.

can anyone please tell me who sang it!!!??
