Chokes me up everytime
When the grandmother calls CPS and they take the kids away and they are reaching out to each other- gets me every time :( I can't imagine being separated from my brother and sister!

Why are they evil? For taking the children out of an abusive situation? Are you saying that if you saw something like that happening, you would offer to take both children (or how many necessary) into your home so they would not be separated?
shareThe fact that CPS rips kids away from their families and separates them from their siblings sounds pretty evil to me. Sure, the father was abusive, but so were they. The kids certainly didn't look very happy to be wheeled away in that scene and the CPS people showed no sympathy whatsoever.

And then when CPS leaves the children and the children are harmed by the abusive parents, CPS is blamed for that too. In the eyes of some people, CPS can do no right.
