Which cost more, science or filming science?

They did say in the "making of" that the main goal was making people fall in love with coral reefs, so I'm guessing there was very little science going on at all. "OK, you'll fly over the island in an ultralight to get the big picture, and we'll rent a whole second plane to film you doing it." Why didn't everyone just get into one plane?

And then there were all the silly sounds added to the nature action including human grunts when the little shrimp throws rocks around. I didn't mind that so much but thought it was silly. Did you notice that the divers headlamp beams made wooshing noises as they swung around? That's not even substituting one sound for another because light doesn't make noise.
