newlywed game
1. Was the newlywed game "up the butt" scene real or faked?
2. Do we all agree the CIA hitman story was a 100% fabrication?

up the butt was real
it's a pretty famous scene and for a long time it was just a legend, but i saw it on one of those "most outrageous gameshow moments" shows and the host explained even he didn't really remember it because it didn't seem so ridiculous at the time
but yeah, real
as for the cia story, we may never know

shareAt one time the host of the show offered like up to $50,000 for anyone who could find the legendary, "up the butt, Bob" clip. In later interviews he seems kind of embarrassed he could forget something like that but he doesn't concede he would have lost the 50 grand because it was "In the ass?" not, "In the butt, Bob."

Youtube deleted that clip - "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation."
It has been posted again, but her reply is bleeped out, so she says "In the bleep"

Still very funny.
Urban legends site Snopes has all the info and a video: http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/newlywed.asp
shareRegardless of whether it actually happened and was captured on film, it seems highly unlikely that it was aired at that period in time.
And I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but if you think the CIA story has even the remotest chance of being true, then you don't get the movie or Chuck Barris.
Thats the same clip that's in the movie!
