When it aired on HBO back in the early to mid-1980S. There is a quality to it that I can't really define that has made it so endearing to me. Rich Little put his comedic spin on A Christmas Carol in a way the no funny person has been able to replicate, IMHO. I love the intro song "This Will Be The Merriest Christmas Yet."
