Bad DVD?

I found this movie at 2 rental places. One place had 2 copies. And all 3 copies have a problem in my player. It starts right at the begining of chapter 15. It gets there and then just stops playing and the chapters just start skipping. And no one has it on VHS. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The player has no problems with other DVDs. Just this one and in the same spot.
