worst idea for a film ever!

this has to be the best unintentional comdey ever, but as i was watching it was starting to wonder if the directors really did intend it to be funny, i mean come on, not only do you have an old grandpa playing an action hero, and getting beatin the crap out of in nearlly every scene, but u also have one of the villains dressed up as a lumberjack who hangs out at extasy driven raves. With this type of set up, the viewers in for tons of laughs and not a real action flick

American Gun 2002? mifih, there's no "action hero", "grandpa" doesn't ever get a "beatin" and the "villian dressed as a lumberjack" is not the actual villian. Er...maybe you should quietly watch the film again.
To the other posters re understanding the plot, I agree, its really confusing. Coburn's character doesn't behave like he shot his own daughter. If there was more acknowledgement of this it would help the believability. It is an incredibly convoluted plot that is flawed, although the acting and other production elements are awesome. Thanks for the discussion on this. This is my first post.

Lumberjacks dig raves. Hang out in Canada some time.

Did you see this movie, was pranked about the plot from a friend when you asked instead of actually watching it for a homework assignment or did you have a bad LSD trip while it was on? Cause clearly you have no idea about this movie. You have just succeeded in making yourself look ignorant.

I heard a lumberjack was about to punch you last year, but decided against it when you pee'd yourself silly.

Now you talk smack about them from your computer every day. Instead, you should lift some weights and learn to make the 'mean face'.
