Budget
Does anybody know what the budget of this film was (in US dollars)?
Thanks
Seems like everybody did it for free. It's almost all crappy handheld cameras.
shareDefinitely would not surprise me. It has been a while since I have seen it though, so I can't remember whether it was shot digitally or on film.
shareSadly, I can't even blame this on digital. There's a scene before the dude goes apesh*t in the restaurant where you can see a film-burn come across the screen. At first I thought it was a hidden image or something, but on 8x Slow you can see a bona fide burn in the film stock. Maybe Kim Ki-Duk did that on purpose.
shareya they should have re-shot the take. O wait :)
share28 Days Later was shot with "crappy handheld cameras" and that was ace. It helps add to the rawness in my opinnion...
shareYeah the way it's shot is the reason i like it, it makes it feel like real life.
